The actor of “The sixth sense” put the 12-bedroom property on the market for $12.95million.
Bruce Willis sold his Central Park West apartment last year for $17 million, and now he’s hoping for another real estate success story about 50 miles north.
The Die Hard actor listed his 22.6-acre estate in Bedford, New York for $12.95 million earlier this month with Douglas Elliman. It includes four separate houses, two garages, a saltwater pool, a pool house, and a tennis court. The real estate taxes alone run $180,863 a year. The listing agents are Ann Cutbill Lenane, Nancy Strong and Stacey Oestreich of Douglas Elliman.
Willis told the Wall Street Journal his family is selling the home because they are planning a move to the West Coast. “Our youngest daughter Mabel said last week that she wishes we could put lots of balloons on our house, as they did in the movie ‘Up’, and send it to the West Coast,” he said in a statement. “I agree, that would be perfect.”
The luxury estate with panoramic views of the Croton Reservoir was purchased in 2014 for $9 million, according to property records.
